Family outing marks Stantons' 50th anniversary

STRUTHERS -- Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Stanton, 363 W. Omar St., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a trip July 9-14 to Maumee Bay Resort near Toledo with their children and their families.
Family members honoring the couple were Mary Kay and Al Luzi of Wauwatosa, Wis.; Tom and Nathalie Stanton of Aurora; Bob and Shari Stanton of St. Charles, Ill.; and Neil and Stacy Stanton of Canfield. The couple's nine grandchildren also participated.
The former Catherine Rose Evans and Mr. Stanton were united in marriage July 12, 1951, at St. Nicholas Church where they are members.
Mr. Stanton served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired in 1993 from Nickles Baking Co. in Girard where he was sales manager.
Mrs. Stanton retired in 1991 after 25 years of service with Mahoning National Bank.
