BENEFIT Fraternity to hold golf event



YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State University's Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity will sponsor its annual Closest to the Pin Golf Challenge Aug. 19 at Mill Creek Park's Par 3 Golf Course on McCollum Road.
The golf outing is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is open to families. There will be a prize awarded on every hole for the golfer who hits closest to the pin on each of the nine holes. There is a special category for golfers who are 15 years old and younger.
The entry fee of $10 includes greens fee. No reservations are required.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Heart Association. Funds will go to cardiovascular research, educational programs and services of the AHA.
Pete Zwieryznski, fraternity president, is coordinating the fund-raiser. Kris Morrison is golf chairman.
