ALLISON PARK, Pa. -- Memorial Park Presbyterian Church was the setting at 11 a.m. June 30 as Jill Slimmer and Scott Matthews, both of 717 Cochran St., Sewickley, Pa., were united in marriage.
The bride is a daughter of Larry and Nora Slimmer, 1417 Keefer Road, Girard, and the groom is a son of the Rev. Robert and Patricia Fulton, 935 Windgate Drive, Wexford, Pa.
Rev. Dr.Terry Mann and Rev. Fulton presided at the ceremony, and afterward the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at The Chadwick in Wexford. They live in Pittsburgh.
The bride's ivory organza gown was embellished with Chantilly lace and rum pink satin rosebuds.
Jen Hemme of Pittsburgh, the bride's twin sister and honor attendant, and Kari Emerick of Pittsburgh, the bridesmaid, wore rum pink gowns.
Robert Kasenter of Chicago served as best man, and groomsman was Michael Rust of Oxford, Md.
The bride graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor's degree and earned a master's in leadership liberal studies from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. She is a management instructor with Pennsylvania Culinary, in Pittsburgh.
The groom, an attorney with Gorr, Moser, Dell and Laughney in Pittsburgh, earned a bachelor's degree from GCC and his juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh Law School.
