Miss Goodman, Mr. Johnson set wedding date

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -- Mr. and Mrs. Larry W. Goodman of Peachtree City are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Shelli Lee Goodman of Katy, Texas, and Thomas S. Johnson of Houston, formerly of Youngstown, a son of the late Thomas D. and Carole A. Johnson, who had lived in Youngstown.
The bride-elect graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in child and family development. She is a fifth-grade special-education teacher with the Katy Independent School System in Katy.
The prospective groom, a regional sales representative with Reliance Standard Life Insurance Co. in Houston, graduated from UG with a degree in advertising.
The wedding will take place Aug. 25 at First Presbyterian Church.
