Beating the heat
GREENFORD -- To help Green Township residents beat the heat, the township trustees said the air-conditioned administration building will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. when the temperatures exceed 80 degrees. No smoking is permitted in the building.
Center's open house
CHAMPION -- The Adult Education Department of Trumbull County Technical Center will have open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 9. Prospective students will have a chance to tour classrooms, meet instructors, ask about training programs and begin the application process for financial aid. Refreshments will be served.
