What: About 325,000 Peg Perego high chairs.
Reason: When the seat is reclined, the chairs have a space between the armrest and backrest in which a child's head or arm can become entrapped, posing a risk of suffocation or injury. There have been 51 reports of children's being entrapped between the armrest and backrest.
Description: The recalled chairs are the "Prima Pappa," "Roller" and "Martinelli Pappa and Nanna" models, with the model names on the footrest or the seat back. A sticker on the brace connecting the front leg to the back leg reads "Peg-Perego" and "Italy."
Sold from: June 1996 through October 1999 at Babies "R" Us, Burlington Coat Factory and other chain stores and independent retailers for about $180.
