Man dies after hitting head in pool

LEETONIA -- Traditional music, dance, food and folk tales of Ireland, Scotland and Wales will be featured Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the third annual Celtic Festival.
The event, sponsored by Leetonia-Washingtonville Chamber of Commerce, will be in Wick Park.
Vendors will offer traditional Celtic foods such as fish and chips, British pastries, meat pies and Scottish pasties. Pasties are a French pastry filled with meat, onion and potatoes, and covered in gravy.
Chamber member Heather MacNaughton said a geneologist will be available to help visitors interested in tracing their Celtic heritage.
The festival concludes with the running of the Kilted Mile. The one-mile race in which participants wear kilts has become a favorite event of the festival, Macnaughton said.
Entertainment will be provided by Edward Patrick Durkin, an Irish singer; Laura Katz, a Scottish Highlands dancer, the MacCallum Highlanders, a bagpipe band, and the John Simonds family band, Shamrock and Thistle.
Lois Tamplin will share songs and stories of Wales.
