Junior golf tourney set for Aug. 8

The 2001 Junior Golf Tournament at Borland Golf Center for boys and girls ages 8-18 will be held Wednesday, August 8.
On tap are five boys age divisions: 8-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16 and 17-19; and four for girls: 8-10, 11-12, 13-15 and 16-18.
Players under the ages of 12 will be playing nine holes on the par-3 course. Entry fee is $10. All other players will vie over 18 holes. Entry fee is $18.
Deadline for entering is Sunday, Aug. 5.
