The Gordon D. James Career Center in Lordstown now offers open enrollment.
Students from any district in the state may apply.
There is no tuition obligation.
Application packets are available by calling (330) 824-2588, (330) 824-2107 or (330) 824-2519.
Lordstown School District is the fiscal agent for the center.
Programs available include: Auto collision and technology I and II; Auto mechanics I and II; Building trades I and II; Computer electronics technology I and II; Cosmetology I and II; Culinary arts I and II; Diversified health occupations, Hospitality and facility care services I and II; Marketing education, for seniors only, Career based intervention program, formerly OWE; Information systems and support I and II; Interactive multimedia I and II; Programming and software development I and II; Cisco networking I and II and Computer aided drafting I and II.
Academic subjects include math, English, social studies and science.
Seats in the programs are limited, and school officials urge students to apply early.
