Stocker-West engagement is made known

STRUTHERS -- Announcing plans for their forthcoming wedding are Kate Stocker, 519 Maplewood Ave., and Matthew West, 106 Smithfield St.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Jean and Bob Shackelford of the Maplewood Avenue address and Terry Stocker of Struthers. Robert and Jane Metz, 4007 Dobbins Road, Poland, are parents of the prospective groom.
The couple will be married at 11 a.m. Aug. 17 at Sandal's Royal Caribbean Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Invitations will be extended for a postnuptial reception to be held Aug. 31 at The Embassy in Youngstown.
Miss Stocker is a student at Hair Academy in Austintown and is associated with her family's business, Sadie's Cleaning Service in Struthers.
Her fiance is a communications technician for Ameritech in Youngstown.
