Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Armstrong mark 70th anniversary at family dinner

MINERAL RIDGE -- Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Armstrong of 1483 Blunt St. were honored July 7 at a family dinner at Alberini's Restaurant in Niles on the occasion of their 70th wedding anniversary.
Hostesses for the celebration were the couple's daughters, Donna Squires of Mineral Ridge and Diane Natoli of Niles. Four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild complete their family.
Mr. Armstrong and the former Evelyn Bowker were married July 7, 1931, at her parents home in Mineral Ridge. He retired in 1976 from Bonaquist Motors in Niles, where he was service manager, and he also retired from the Mahoning Valley Sanitary District.
Mrs. Armstrong is a homemaker.
The couple are members of the Mineral Ridge Church of Christ.
