LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements
WARREN -- Superior Printing of Warren won several awards recently at the annual Premier Print Awards ceremony presented annually by the Printing Industry Association. Superior won two Benny awards, the highest level given, for a coffee table book it printed for the Lough Road Art Galleries in Portland, Ore. The company also received two certificates of merit under the categories of trade books, journals and other books and waterless painting. More than 5,500 entries were submitted for the competition.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Suzanne Myers, formerly of Youngstown, earned certification as a human resources professional from the Human Resource Certification Institute. Myers, who is director of human resources for Omega Garage Doors, Inc., passed a comprehensive examination and demonstrated a strong background of professional human resource experience to earn the certification. Myers is a graduate of Wells College and lives in Venice, Fla.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The International Foundation for Retirement Education has renewed its Certified Retirement Counselor certification for Steven S. Shagrin of Salomon Smith Barney. Shagrin completed a continuing education requirement.
