Cory Ketler, age 11, of West Middlesex, Pa., aced the 157-yard No. 15 hole at Deer Creek Golf Course in Hubbard. He used a 3-iron. His father, Perry, witnessed the shot.
Bill Kish of Canfield aced the 182-yard No. 13 hole at Salem Hills Country Club. He used a 4-iron. Bob Rusky and Bob Kish Jr. witnessed the shot.
Al Pepper, 80, of Youngstown, aced the 157-yard No. 9 hole at Donnybrook Golf Course in Hubbard. He used a utility wood and was in the foursome with Chuck Burrows, Al Begot and Juan Medina.
Mike Sosnowski scored the second hole-in-one of his career at Tamer Win Golf Course in Cortland. He aced the No. 5 hole, 153 yards with a 7-iron. Witnessing the shot were Bob Tablack, Gino Leshnack and Joe Sosnowski.
Dianne Ripple of Canfield made a hole-in-one on the No. 8 hole at Dogwood Golf Course. She hit a 6-iron on the 185 yard hole. Witnessing the shot were Kathy Orzo and Kim Hensley.
Bill Schaal of Boardman on the 148-yard No. 9 hole at Copeland Hills Golf Course in Columbiana using an 8-iron. It was his first round of golf in three years. Witnessing the shot was Lisa Becka.
Steve Ruby made a hole-in-one at Pine Lakes Golf Course in Hubbard on the 116-yard No. 16 hole. He hit an 8-iron and the shot was witnessed by Gary Pazak.
Joseph Sinkovich of Youngstown scored an ace recently at Eagle Sticks Golf Course in Zanesville. Sinkovich used a 6-iron on the 151-yard 17th hole. Witnesses were Monk Gantz, Dave Adams and Earl Smith.
