POLAND -- A reception at The Embassy in Youngstown followed the June 30 wedding of Casie Jo Holzer and David Joyce that took place at Poland United Methodist Church.
Parents of the couple are Fred and Barbara Holzer, 2346 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, and Jim and Carolyn Joyce, 4466 E. Pine Lake Road, New Springfield.
The Rev. Craig Redecker officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Atlantic City, N.J. They are living in North Lima.
A sheath-style gown was worn by the bride. It featured long sleeves and a square neckline and was trimmed with Venise lace, sequins and pearls. A sheer chapel-length train extended from the skirt.
The bride's sister, Tiffani Holzer of Cleveland, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Rhonda Procaccio of Suffield, Amy Emerick of North Lima and Joy Kohler of Poland. Savannah Simpson of Ypsilanti, Mich., was flower girl.
Kevin Vegoda of Austintown performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Jerry Joyce of New Springfield, the groom's brother; Digger Emerick of North Lima; and Steve Joyce of Atlanta, another brother of the groom. Ring bearer was his cousin, Tommy Joyce of New Springfield.
Mrs. Joyce graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in elementary education. She is an assistant manager for H.G.W. Fast Track and also works as a substitute teacher.
Her husband is self-employed with Supreme Steam in New Springfield.
