ANGELA GRAHOVACKYLE NURMINEN
YOUNGSTOWN -- Angela Annette Grahovac, daughter of Emil and Annette Grahovac, all of Canfield, became the bride of Kyle Alexander Nurminen of Struthers, son of Vicki Petruska of Salem and George Nurminen of Michigan, before the Rev. Joseph Allen at 3 p.m. June 23 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
A reception was held at the Italian-American Veterans Centre. After a trip to Carmel, Calif., and San Francisco, they live in Struthers.
The bride's strapless satin and tulle dress was styled with a beaded corset bodice.
Honor attendants were the bride's sisters, Rachel Lyn and Sarah Elizabeth Grahovac, both of Canfield, and bridesmaids were Jolene Rodgers of Youngstown, Christine Campana and Lindsey Hammond, both of Austintown, and Kelly Halverson of Morgan Hill, Calif., the groom's sister. Melanie Moltchan of Youngstown, her cousin, was flower girl. They wore gowns in rainbow colors.
Richard Katsaras of Boardman was best man. Groomsmen were Jim Jones and Ross Halstead, both of Youngstown; Mike Cafaro of Austintown; Mike Halverson of Morgan Hill, the groom's brother-in-law; and Ken Christoff of Boardman. Ring bearer was Dominic Moltchan of Youngstown, the bride's cousin.
A billing clerk at Youngstown Community Health Center Inc., Mrs. Nurminen graduated from Choffin Career Center.
The groom attended the U.S. Naval Academy and Youngstown and Kent state universities, and served in the U.S. Navy. He is a correction lieutenant at the Ohio State Penitentiary.
