HARLANSBURG, PA. Body of elderly man found near farm

HARLANSBURG, Pa. -- The search for an elderly Scott Township man ended early today when his body was found by his daughter near a farm.
The body of James A. Moore of Eastbrook-Harlansburg Road was found around 7 a.m. in an area near the Lawrence County-Butler County border.
Pennsylvania State Police and Lawrence County Coroner J. Russell Noga were at the scene late this morning questioning neighbors and members of Moore's family.
The cause of death at this time is undetermined, but state police said it appears Moore died of natural causes.
Moore left his home around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday to hunt groundhogs at a nearby farm, said Mike Marshall, Moore's neighbor. Marshall said Moore was in his 70s.
Agreement: Marshall said Moore and the farmer had an agreement where Moore would be allowed to hunt groundhogs to keep the creatures from destroying the farmer's crop.
Moore's family became concerned when he didn't return in the early evening and they notified state police and volunteer firefighters, Marshall said.
Marshall said he came out at 12:30 a.m. to help search for Moore.
Volunteer firefighters from Scott Township, borough of Volant, Hickory Township and Princeton of Slippery Rock Township in Butler County helped in the search. They came out about 3 a.m.
Moore's body was found by his daughter about 7 a.m. in the woods about a mile from Eastbrook-Harlansburg Road, Marshall said.
