Superintendent named

TRANSFER, Pa. -- The Reynolds School Board has elected Anthony S. Trosan the new schools superintendent, effective July 31.
Trosan, a native of the Greenville area, has served as school superintendent at Avonworth School District in Pittsburgh and the Greater Nanticoke Area School District in Nanticoke, Pa. The school board named him to the post during a special meeting Monday.
He was hired to replace former school superintendent Charles Cagno, who resigned earlier this month. Barbara Clawson, elementary principal, has served as acting superintendent since Cagno's resignation. She also had served in the position briefly before Cagno was hired.
