July 15
Burglary: Two sisters who live in an apartment in the 300 block of Carriage Lane apartments reported that their purses, containing credit cards and cash, were stolen from their kitchen table. There was no sign of forced entry.
Burglary: A purse and wallet were reported missing by the residents of an apartment in the 200 block of Carriage Lane. The items contained cash, credit cards, checks and car keys. The victims reported leaving the items on a table next to a sliding door but were not sure if it was locked. The sliding door, which had been closed, was open.

July 8
Theft: Eighteen 18-packs of Pepsi Cola valued at $341 were stolen from the BP gas station, 5562 Mahoning Ave.
Arrest: Police arrested a man after a traffic chase on suspicion of breaking into a vacant residence in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Assault: A woman accused a man of assaulting her at an apartment in the Fountain Square Apartments complex.
Criminal damaging: Someone damaged a vehicle at Phar-Mor in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: Someone stole a credit card at Certified Gas Station, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Beer and cigarettes were stolen from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damage: Someone damaged two vehicles parked at the Compass West Apartments complex.
July 9
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into B & amp;R Wholesale Tire, 116 S. Meridian Road. The lock was damaged on the front door and $250 was taken.
Theft: Tools were stolen from a vehicle parked on South Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: Ten cases of soda were stolen from the BP gas station at 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Burglary: Someone entered an attached garage and stole two bicycles, which were recovered on Barrington Drive.
Theft: Cash was stolen from a safe at Country Kitchen restaurant, 5495 Clarkins Drive.
Attempted theft: Would-be thieves tried to steal a vehicle at Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, by peeling back the steering column of a 1995 Pontiac.
Criminal damaging: Someone scratched the finish of a vehicle parked on Bexley Drive.
Criminal damaging: Someone broke out the window of a vehicle parked on South Four Mile Run Road.

Breaking and entering: A storage shed was broken into and a gasoline can was stolen from Galilee Baptist Church, 4009 Elmwood Ave.
Criminal damage: Someone used a key to damage the finish of a vehicle parked at The Mill, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Someone stole a lawn tractor from a New Road home.
Arrest: Police arrested a man suspected of theft at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave., and turned him over to the Campbell Police Department. The man was wanted by that department on a warrant in another crime.

Theft: $150 in cash was reported stolen at Acton Avenue and Polley Drive.
Auto theft: A 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora was stolen from a Baker Street home.

Breaking and entering: Two cases of motor oil were stolen from Youngstown Baptist Church, 554 S. Meridian Road.
