2-car crash leaves 3 people injured

HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Three people were transported by ambulance to an area hospital after a two-car crash Sunday night on U.S. Route 62.
Barbara Miskolitz, 79, and Frank Miskolitz, 84, both of Paul Street, Hermitage, remained in stable condition today at Sharon Regional Health System's hospital, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Matthew Parquette, 32, of McClure Avenue, Sharon, was released Sunday. Police said that around 9:35 p.m. Mrs. Miskolitz was trying to make a left turn onto Route 62 west from a private driveway near the VFW hall. She pulled into the path of Parquette's vehicle, which was traveling east on Route 62, police said.
