YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown Buick Pontiac GMC, a Market Street auto dealership, was listed in Ward's Dealer 500, the nation's only annual dealership ranking conducted by Ward's Dealer Business magazine. David H. Sweeney owns the business. The ranking recognizes dealerships for high vehicle sales, high customer satisfaction scores and efficiently managed parts and service departments.
CANFIELD -- Chocolatier Magazine has listed Handel's Ice Cream, with headquarters in Canfield, as the maker of one of the Favorite Homemade Ice Creams Throughout America. The magazine called Handel's "an icon" of ice cream from Ohio to Pennsylvania. Founded in Youngstown in 1945, Handel's is a family business owned by Leonard Fisher of Youngstown. It has 31 locations.
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Dennis Shank, a driver for of Anderson Coach & amp; Travel, placed third overall in the American Bus Association's International Coach Classic Driving Championship, held recently in Biloxi, Miss. Shank, who lives in Greenville, tied for best score in the annual motorcoach driver safety and professionalism competition and won an award for his performance on the written test. He also placed second in the 1999 and 2000 competitions.
