NEWTON FALLS -- The Newton Falls Public Library board of trustees will meet at noon Tuesday to open bids for sidewalk repair.
Tie-dye program
KINSMAN -- Teen-agers can tie-dye a T-shirt (bring white cotton or cotton blend) at Kinsman Free Public Library from 1-2 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. July 23. Cost is $2 per item. Wear old clothing. Final drying is done at home. Call (330) 876-2461 to register.
Strawberry fest
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- The Aid Association for Lutherans Branch 9396 of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 3325 Morefield Road, will have a strawberry fest fund-raiser from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. The menu will feature strawberries, ice cream, cake, hot dogs, sloppy Joes, baked beans, potato salad, coffee, iced tea and soft drinks. Proceeds will go toward a new sound system for the church.
