STRUTHERS -- Charles G. Wilt, 531 Sexton St., and his bride, the former Tammy L. Achey, 1783 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown, honeymooned at Marco Island, Fla., after their June 16 wedding at Struthers Church of Christ.
The Rev. William Covan presided at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Jonathan and Kathleen Achey, 3890 Cannon Road, Austintown, and the son of Roy and Delores Wilt of the Sexton Street address.
A reception was held at St. Mary's Social Assumption Center.
Alencon lace adorned the tank-style bodice and the hemline of the bride's raw silk gown, and the skirt flowed into a chapel train.
Desert blue and silver gowns were worn by Stephanie Reagan, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Sandy Barnes, Bridget Schinker, Kimberly Barnett and Nancy Jacubec. Flower girl was Kelsea McGrath.
Best man was Larry Warren, and groomsmen were John Achey, the bride's brother; Robert Wilt, a brother of the groom; Dave Goist; and Eric Bell. His nephew, Camden Covan, was ring bearer.
The bride, a regional administrator with Wee Care Day Care and Learning Centre, Youngstown, graduated from Youngstown State University with an associate degree in early childhood education.
The groom served six years with the U.S. Marine Corps and earned an associate degree in business management and accounting at ITT Technical Institute, Youngstown. He is a communications technician with Ameritech of Youngstown.
The couple live at the Raccoon Road address.
