CANFIELD -- The Rev. Terry Hazel presided at 2 p.m. June 30 at St. Michael Church for the wedding of Karen Sue Bartelmay and Jeff Anthony Salajko, both of Little Rock, Ark.
A reception wss held later that day at Fonderlac Country Club, New Springfield.
The daughter of Herb and Mary Bartelmay of Boardman and the son of Tony and Joan Salajko of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.They live in Little Rock.
The bride's off-white gown was designed with a strapless bodice and full organza skirt. It was enhanced with green and yellow piping and embroidered flowers, and featured silk flowers at the back waistline.
Pastel gowns were worn by Kristin Bartelmay, the bride's sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Alexandra Bartelmay, her sister-in-law; Kathy Berkman, her cousin; Tina and Jill Salajko, sisters of the groom; Michele Shaffer; Michelle Sylvester; Jennifer Hans; and Anne Huryn.
Serving as best man was Ryan Oldfield, and groomsmen were Roy Bartelmay, the bride's brother; Jim Siefried, the groom's uncle; Greg Allen; Matt Cressman; Chad Ross; Deen Sylvester; Dave Aleo; and Scott Payne.
An executive television producer with station KTHY-TV in Little Rock, the bride holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University, Athens.
The groom attended the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, and is a professional hockey player with the Arkansas Riverblades in Little Rock.
