YOUNGSTOWN -- The Marble Room at Stambaugh Auditorium was the setting June 16 for the 5 p.m. wedding of Jill Denise Keagy and Michael Floyd Alvetro.
Parents of the couple are Richard and Judy Keagy, 9642 Hawks Landing, Howland, and Floyd and Janet Alvetro, 2310 McCleary Jacoby Road, Cortland.
The Rev. Curtis Miller officiated, and a reception followed in the auditorium ballroom.
After a honeymoon in Belize, the newlyweds are living at 2235 Henn Hyde Road, Howland.
A white strapless gown of matte satin and organza was worn by the bride. It was embellished with Venise lace, and the skirt fell to a chapel train. An organza shawl accented her ensemble.
Christine Deemer was matron of honor, and maid of honor was Missy Bellus. They wore silver gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Cathy Powell, Lisa Alvetro-Rossman and Christie Keagy. Flower girl was Kathryn Rossman.
Best man was the groom's father, and groomsmen were Phil Keagy, Rich Keagy, David Powell and Tom Rossman. Junior groomsman was Mathew Litke.
Mrs. Alvetro is a magna cum laude graduate of Kent State University with bachelor's and master's degrees in speech-language pathology. She is a speech pathologist at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
Her husband graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology and later with a bachelor's in education, both from Youngstown State University. He is pursuing a master's in administration at YSU and is a science teacher at Lordstown High School.
