Dinner party held in celebration of Schiavones' golden anniversary

POLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schiavone, 6090 Pawnee Place, were honored at a dinner party held June 27 at the Youngstown Club, Youngstown, in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple will continue the golden jubilee celebration during a cruise.
Hosts for the dinner and making arrangements for the cruise were their family, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Schiavone of Youngstown and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hnat and Elida Schiavone, all of Poland.
The former Beverly Dean and Mr. Schiavone were married June 27, 1951, at St. Edward Church in Youngstown. They are members of Holy Family Church.
Mr. Schiavone served with the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1954. He was employed as a sales manager with International Playtex Corp. and retired in 1991. His wife is a homemaker.
