Coys are honored at luncheon for 65th anniversary

CANFIELD -- Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Coy, 433 Fairground Blvd., were honored July 8 at a luncheon at Canfield Christian Church in celebration of their 65th wedding anniversary.
The former Alma Davis and Mr. Coy were married July 11, 1936, at the home of her parents in Beaver Township. They have four sons and daughters-in-law, Arlan and Patricia Coy and Wesley and Cheryl Coy, all of Salem; the Rev. Emerson and Julie Coy of Lac du Flambeau, Wis.; and the Rev. Walter and Joyce Coy of Conneaut.
Eleven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Coy is the owner of Coy Bros. Trucking. His wife is a homemaker and past president of the Canfield Kiwaniqueens. She has also served as a Sunday school teacher at Canfield Christian Church, where the couple are members.
