Local Wolves club to receive award

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Wolves Club, Den VI of Youngstown, has been chosen as the recipient of the 2001 National Philanthropy Outstanding Civic Association Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Mahoning/Shenango Chapter.
The award will be presented at the National Philanthropy Day luncheon to be held Nov. 13 at the Avalon Inn, Howland.
Den VI is the Mahoning County chapter of the national fraternity of Italian-American business professionals dedicated to community service. Its mission is to raise funds to support higher education.
