Scrappers welcome Staten Island

NILES -- The Mahoning Valley Scrappers begin a three-game series against the Staten Island Yankees tonight at Cafaro Field.
Tonight's game is Negro League Tribute night. Special guest will be Ted Radcliffe, whose flamboyant personality made him a crowd favorite in a career that lasted from 1928-50.
Radcliffe, who was a pitcher, catcher and a part-time manager, played with more than 15 teams, including the 1932 Pittsburgh Crawfords.
Each game during the home-stand starts at 7:05 p.m.
