July 4
Warrant: Police arrested a 29-year-old Canfield man for failure to appear in drug court. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Health center after complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath.
July 6
Theft: A grinder was stolen from a truck parked at Professional Engine Systems, 495 W. Main St. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle, which contained numerous other items.
July 8
A 35-year-old man from Trinity, N.C., was arrested for failure to appear on possession of marijuana charges. Police stopped him and another North Carolina man for selling furniture out of a semi on Willow Bend Drive without a permit.

Counterfeit: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at McQuaid's gas station, 702 N. Meridian Road.
Theft from auto: A car door was pried open in the 50 block of Westminister Avenue, and a stereo, compact discs and radar detector were taken.
Attempted: A woman was arrested at the scene after she pried a screen off a residence in the 1000 block of Bexley Avenue and took drugs and change.
Theft: A 2001 Honda all-terrain vehicle was stolen in the 400 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A man's wallet was stolen from the BW-3 Bar and Grill, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: An apartment door was pried open, and money and jewelry were stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Burglary: Someone gained entry through a dining room window while the victim was sleeping and stole a 1991 Oldsmobile Ciera from the garage of a residence in the 100 block of South Yorkshire Boulevard.
