CORNERSBURG -- The wedding of Trisha Smith and Jeffrey Culp took place June 9 at Zion Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Dale Giffin officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Bob and Marti Smith, 5127 W. Elmwood Ave., Austintown, and the son of Mal and Jan Culp, 1675 Westwind Place, Austintown.
The couple greeted guests afterward at a reception at the Holiday Inn in Boardman and then departed for a honeymoon trip to St. Thomas.
They are living in Cincinnati.
An ivory sleeveless gown designed with an off-the-shoulder neckline was worn by the bride. She carried a cascade bouquet of ivory roses.
Aprile Smith, the bride's sister, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Keli Davis; Tamara Morgan, the bride's cousin; Kami Blackburn; and Chris Scardina. Junior bridesmaid was the groom's cousin, Ashley Lerch.
The groom's brother, James Culp, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Chad Fogt, Jonathan Morgan, David Messerly, Brent Ziegler and the bride's brother, Mathew Smith.
A graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in journalism, the bride is attending the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
Mr. Culp holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Wittenberg University in Springfield and is a student at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
