SHERRY MCCALEMANUEL RODRIGUEZ
BOARDMAN -- Sherry McCale, daughter of Cindy and Larry McCale of Liberty, and Manuel Rodriguez, son of Evelyn Lopez of San Jose, Calif., and Martin Rodriguez Sr. of Palo Alto, Calif., were married at 11 a.m. June 16 at Bethel Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Paul Burgeson officiated.
The couple left on a wedding trip to the Poconos following a reception in the church fellowship hall.
They are living in Spring Lake, N.C.
The bride wore a white A-line gown fashioned with spaghetti straps. The bodice was trimmed with beading and embroidery.
Maid of honor was Kristie Henry, and bridesmaids were Julie Chandler; Maria Duponty and Marina Rodriguez, the groom's sisters; and Jocelyn Duponty, the groom's niece. They wore navy gowns. Selena Duponty, his niece, was flower girl.
Chad Crown performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Brian McCale, the bride's brother, and the groom's brothers, Nick, Noah and Johnathan Pitts. Ring bearer was Elijah Duponty, his nephew.
The groom serves in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft armament specialist.
