Rogers-Waitkus engagement is announced

WARREN -- Announcement is being made by Thomas and Linda Rogers, 336 Kenilworth N.E., of the engagement of their daughter, Mary Ellen Rogers, to Edward Waitkus, both of 6115 Polo Drive W., Columbus.
The future groom is a son of Lorin and Susanne Waitkus, 1532 Treasure Lake, DuBois, Pa.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 18 at St. Mary Church and for a reception to be held at Enzo's Banquet Room.
Miss Rogers holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea and a master's in social work from Ohio State University, Columbus.
Her fiance graduated from Clarion University, Clarion, Pa., with a degree in education. He is a firefighter-paramedic with the city of Columbus. He also served in the U.S. Army.
