BOARDMAN -- On Wednesday at 1 p.m., guest story-teller and author Susan Jacobs will be at the children's section of Barnes & amp; Noble Booksellers to read her book "Meggie the Pup's Summer Adventure."
Author David Lima will be at the store on Friday at 7 p.m. to discuss his recent book "The Silly Mind: Learning to Take Life More or Less Seriously." The book is a lucid and humorous description of how we create our own emotional disturbances and what we can do to calm ourselves.
On Saturday at 1 p.m., local author Wendy Drescher will appear with her book, "Every New Broom Sweeps Clean." The book, which was reviewed in last Sunday's Vindicator, is a biography of Harry Bailey, the Friendly Trapper. Both Drescher and Bailey will be available to discuss and sign copies of the book.
