Married: Max H. Hupp on Oct. 6, 1921, in Youngstown. Lived on the North Side, then moved to a new home on the South Side. He died in 1968.
Children: Harold Hupp of Austintown, Norma Jean West of Canfield, Eileen Rowthorn of Kentucky, Nancy Brown of Boardman and James Hupp of Columbiana. A son, Carl Hupp, is deceased.
Grandchildren: 15.
Great-grandchildren: 11.
Siblings: Two sisters are deceased.
Background: Worked for the Heim Coal Co. at age 13 and later as a secretary at the former Strouss department store, where she also modeled fur coats. Her hobbies are quilting, embroidery, flowers and being with her family.
Church: St. Mark Lutheran Church in Boardman, where she is the oldest charter member.
Celebrations: A "This is Your Life" party will be held at the Alterra Sterling House on Friday; a family party is scheduled for Saturday at her son's home in Columbiana; and a special service in her honor will be conducted July 15 at St. Mark.
