Anniversary is celebrated by Strohmeyers



NILES -- A reception was held June 30 at Theodore's in Mineral Ridge in celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Regis Strohmeyer, 1720 Ohltown-McDonald Road.
Invitations for the event were issued by the couple's children, Rita Fabian, Largo, Fla.; Regis Strohmeyer Jr., McDonald; Dianne Frye and Greg Strohmeyer, both of Mineral Ridge; Eric Strohmeyer, Niles; Sister Celeste Strohmeyer, Uniontown, Pa.; Lorraine Magulick, Seminole, Fla.; Catherine Rosine, Austintown; Charmaine Harvey, Upper Parma; Rebecca Prusha, Youngstown; and Otto Strohmeyer, Warren.
The former Rita Ramsey and Mr. Strohmeyer were married June 30, 1951, at St. Stephen Church in Niles and are members of St. Mary Church, Youngstown. They have 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Strohmeyer is retired after being employed at Macalis Giant Eagle in Niles. Her husband served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and is retired from Mullee's TV and Appliances in Warren.
