Revival services
YOUNGSTOWN -- There will be three days of revival services at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ.
Services will be at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the church with messages of healing, hope and deliverance.
Guest speakers will be evangelists Gregory and Jan McCulley from Bread of Heaven Ministries in Sharon, Pa.
South Africa evangelist
NORTH LIMA -- Evangelist Gregg McGregor from Johannesburg, South Africa, will be at Cornerstone Assembly of God Sunday through Tuesday.
Services are 6:30 p.m. nightly and at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Celebration day
WARREN -- New Jerusalem Fellowship Church will have a day of celebration from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 14 at Packard Park.
Biblical perspective
YOUNGSTOWN -- Sister Christine Schenk, vocation coordinator of the Cleveland Congregation of St. Joseph, will give a biblical and historical perspective on St. Mary of Magdala.
Mary of Magdala is celebrated as the first witness to the resurrection of Jesus.
The session will be from 7 to 9 p.m. July 23 at St. Christine Church.
There is no admission fee but a free-will offering will be taken.
Lawn festival
CANFIELD -- The Calla Community Church annual Lawn Festival will start at 5 p.m. July 14 at 6482 W. Calla Road, between routes 46 and 62.
The festival will feature food, hand-woven rugs and a quilt raffle.
Club meets
YOUNGSTOWN -- The St. Casey Men's and Women's Club will meet at noon Tuesday in the St. Casimir Church auditorium. Speaker will be Dr. Steven D. Novicky, talking about chiropractic rehabilitation of injuries.
Women's conference
WARREN -- New Jerusalem Fellowship Church will have its Women's Conference 2001 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 28 at the church.
Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and includes a continental breakfast.
The conference cost is $10, which includes lunch and packets. Guest speaker is First Lady Charlene Del a Cruse of Cedar Avenue Church of God and Evangelist Brenda Jones of New Bethel Baptist Church.
MUSIC
Gospel celebration
YOUNGSTOWN -- Holy Trinity Baptist Church will have an outdoor gospel music celebration during its fourth annual Pastor Appreciation Day, starting at 2 p.m. July 15 at Wick Park.
Ashtabula Gospelfest
ASHTABULA -- The Ashtabula Gospelfest will be noon to 7 p.m. July 14 at North Park.
Music, singing, dance teams, puppet shows and food all will be part of the celebration.
