Gocala-McIntyre wedding is set for Sept. 8

POLAND -- John and Joan Gocala, 6088 Frontier Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Mary Joanna Gocala, to Scott Jeffrey McIntyre, son of Jeffrey and Eileen McIntyre, 2159 Woodland Trace, Austintown.
The couple have chosen Sept. 8 for their open ceremony to take place at 2 p.m. at St. Matthias Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for a reception to be held that evening at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
The bride-elect holds a medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and is a pediatric resident physician at Forum Health Tod Children's Hospital in Youngstown.
The future groom attended Youngstown State University and is a police officer with the Austintown Police Department.
