Phillipson-Kopey wedding planned for mid-August

CANFIELD -- John and Debra Phillipson, 3456 Meanderwood Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Ann Phillipson of the same address, to Robert F. Kopey of Austintown, son of Robert J. and Marie Kopey, 4040 Kirk Road, Austintown.
The couple's open ceremony will take place at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church. Invitations will be extended for a reception to be held that evening at Theodore's Banquet Centre in Mineral Ridge.
Miss Phillipson holds a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Youngstown State University and is employed at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. She will be attending medical school at Ohio University in the fall.
Her fiance graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is a deputy sheriff for the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office.
