Tax bills get new look
YOUNGSTOWN -- Mahoning County taxpayers will get a little extra when their property tax bills arrive later this summer. Treasurer John Reardon said the bills should make them easier to read, and will provide detailed information about how the tax dollars are distributed. The bills are the culmination of several months' work by his staff, Reardon said. Bills will be printed and mailed within the next 10 days, with final payments due Aug. 24.
Garbage service delay
YOUNGSTOWN -- Residential garbage service in the city will be a day late for those whose normal collection is on Wednesday through Friday this week because of the July 4 holiday.
