75th anniversary is observed by Mr. and Mrs. Ritz



MIAMI -- Former Youngstown residents Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Ritz of Miami celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary during a family dinner June 30 at the Steak-Ale Restaurant.
Hosts and hostesses for the festivity were the honorees' children and spouses, Dr. N. William Ritz of Ocala, Fla.; Mr. and Mrs. William (Betty) Gennaro and Mr. and Mrs. George (Eileen) Katsaras, all of Miami; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Garnet) Giblin of Hubbard; Mr. and Mrs. John (Shirley) Surowiec of Bradenton, Fla.; Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Diana) Matthews, Stuart, Fla.; and Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Carol) Adams of Columbus.
The family circle also includes 23 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. A son, Dr. Daniel Ritz, is deceased.
The former Pauline Ann Marchando and Mr. Ritz exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony July 4, 1926, at the Church of Jesus Christ in Monongahela, Pa. They are members of the Church of Jesus Christ in Miami.
Before the couple retired to Miami 28 years ago, Mr. Ritz owned and operated Logan Barber and Beauty Shop, Youngstown.
