YOUNGSTOWN -- Shannon Sculli, 3433 Clifton Ave., Cincinnati, and David Weimer, 3407 Clifton Ave., Cincinnati, were united in marriage Dec. 29 at St. Christine Church.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows at 2 p.m. in the presence of Monsignor David Rhodes and Deacon Robert Cuttica.
The daughter of Joseph and Paulette Sculli, 4532 Alderwood Drive, Canfield, and son of William and Lillian Weimer, 2401 Sierra Drive., were honored at a reception held at the Avalon Inn and Resort, Howland. After a wedding trip to Belize, they will live in Cincinnati.
The bride's ivory matte satin A-line gown was embellished with pearls and lace and featured a cathedral train.
Scarlet gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Renee Sculli, the bride's sister, and Diane Hofus, and the bridesmaids, Jenna Sedmak, Sara Huff, and the bride's cousins, Sara Sculli, and Laura Yash, junior bridesmaid. Flower girl was the groom's cousin, Elizabeth Kish.
Scott Bleakley was best man, and groomsmen were the groom's brother, Daniel Weimer; the bride's brother, Michael Sculli; her cousin, Patrick Sculli; Tim Walmsley; and Mario Parreaguirre. Ring bearer was the groom's cousin, David Hofsess.
The bride, a special education teacher in Cincinnati, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree from Allegheny College and a master's in physical therapy from D'Youville College. He is completing his final year at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
