YOUNGSTOWN -- Honeymooning on a Caribbean cruise are Kirk Agee, 3516 LaSalle Ave., and his bride, the former Leslie Brooke, 3130 South Ave., who exchanged vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony Dec. 29 at St. Matthias Church. Monsignor Peter Polando and Deacon Sam DiFrancesco officiated.
A reception at St. Mark's Center honored the children of Wayne and Marie Brooke of the South Avenue address and Garnald and Linda Agee of the LaSalle Avenue address.
A nuclear medicine technologist at the Ohio Heart Institute, Mrs. Agee graduated from Hiram College with a bachelor's degree in allied health.
Mr. Agee is attending Youngstown State University and is employed as an office assistant in the university's sociology and anthropology department.
The sister of the bride, Courtnay Chandler of New Middletown, was matron of honor, and maid of honor was Janeace Brooke of Youngstown, also her sister. They wore navy blue dresses. Flower girl was Carly Slifka of Ogdensburg, N.J., the bride's cousin.
Performing the duties of best man was Duane Reichard of Youngstown. Groomsman was Garret Agee of Youngstown, the brother of the groom. Ushers were Wayne Brooke of Cleveland and Brian Brooke of Youngstown, the brothers of the bride, and Jason Agee of Hartford, Mich., the groom's brother.
Beads and sequins embellished the bride's sleeveless, candlelight gown styled with an empire waistline and chapel-length train.
The newlyweds live in Poland.
