Farrell loses consolation

BROOKFIELD -- Holly DeMay scored 18 points and made four 3-point goals along the way as Brookfield High defeated Farrell 51-44 in the consolation game of the Brookfield Lady Warriors Memorial Christmas Basketball Tournament.
Racquel Brenner also fired in 11 points, while Ashley Gramsky was in with 10 more for the Warriors (4-4).
Farrell (1-11), which was out-scored 22-9 over the final eight minutes after leading 35-29 after three quarters, got 25 points from Gina Elerby.
Howland played Sharon in the championship of the tournament.
