BOYS BASKETBALL Sebring's win streak reaches six



SEBRING -- Sebring -- the 6-foot wonders -- started strong and finished with five players scored in double figures as the Trojans won their sixth straight game under third-year coach Brian Clark, 82-60 over visiting Ledgemont Saturday.
Sebring, a team of mostly guards hovering around 6-0, had an 81-49 lead before pulling its starters early in the fourth quarter against the slower Redskins of Ledgemont (2-5).
Josh Dean scored 17 points and had all 10 of his steals in the first half when Ledgemont suffered 20 of its 32 turnovers. The Redskins had 13 turnovers in the second quarter alone
Entering the game with a 24-point scoring average, Greg Vankirk poured in 19 and led Sebring with six assists. One non-starter, Andrew Wilson, scored 10 points and had six rebounds
The Trojans pulled down 37 rebounds with Vankirk and David Scarpitti scraping off seven apiece.
Ledgemont had six players register points with Adam Sidley and Tim Deaton getting 15 apiece. Sidley also had 10 rebounds.
