YOUNGSTOWN -- Registration for skating lessons at Mill Creek MetroParks' outdoor ice rink will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Jan. 2-3 at the ice rink. Ages 4 to adult may participate.
The half-hour lessons take place between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturdays starting Jan. 5. Beginner lessons run for three weeks and cost $3 for Mahoning County residents ($6 for nonresidents). Intermediate lessons run for six weeks and cost $20 for residents ($25 for nonresidents).
Registration must be handled in person, and full payment is due at registration. Rental skates are available for children and adults.
