Parents announce Turney-Buzzard engagement

CORTLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. William G. Turney, 3443 Fowler St., announce the engagement of their daughter, Tia Marie Turney, 33 Goodhue Drive, Akron, and William H. Buzzard, also of the Goodhue Drive address.
Parents of the future groom are Mr. and Mrs. William P. Buzzard, 211 Howland Wilson Road, Warren.
A contract-compliance specialist with Children's Hospital of Akron, Miss Turney earned a bachelor's degree in business administration at Ohio University in Athens.
Mr. Buzzard graduated with a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University. He works in pharmaceutical sales at Abbot Laboratories in Akron.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding planned for 2:30 p.m. April 27 at Howland Community Church. An evening reception, also by invitation, will take place at G's Golden Gate in Warren.
