STRUTHERS -- The marriage of Michelle Owens of Struthers and Carl Snyder of Leavittsburg was solemnized by the Rev. Philip Rogers during a ceremony Nov. 24 at St. Nicholas Church.
After the 2 p.m. service the newlyweds were honored at a reception that took place at The Georgetown in Boardman.
Parents of the bride are Bruce and Betty Owens of Struthers. The groom is a son of Elaine Snyder of Leavittsburg and Patrick and Barbara Snyder of Cleveland.
The couple, who live in Youngstown, plan a holiday cruise to the eastern Caribbean.
An account manager with Exterra Inc. in Youngstown, Mrs. Snyder earned a bachelor's degree in marketing management at Youngstown State University.
Mr. Snyder, the music director at Southington Local Schools, graduated with a bachelor's degree in music education from YSU.
The bride's ivory A-line gown was styled with long sleeves.
The bride's sister, Janine Fleming of Colchester, Conn., was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Lisa Yerrace of Columbus, Laura Clark of Boardman and Kim Rubin of Chicago, the bride's cousin. Flower girl was Hanna Lutz of Warren, the groom's cousin.
Serving as best man was Tom Resnick of Liberty. Groomsmen were Josh Cokrlic of Warren, Mike Niro of Poland and Hardin Butcher of Kent. The bride's nephew, Joshua Fleming of Colchester, was ring bearer. Ushers were Tom Fleming of Colchester, the bride's nephew, and Bill James of Boardman, her cousin.
