NEW CASTLE, Pa. - A honeymoon in Punta Cana, Mexico, followed the Nov. 17 wedding of Heather DelSignore, 5220 E. Calla Road, New Middletown, and Jason McDowell, 112 Edinburg Road, which took place at Mount Jackson Presbyterian Church.
The couple exchanged vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony in the presence of the Rev. Ron McGinnis and were honored afterward during a reception at The Embassy, Youngstown.
Rick and Shelli DelSignore, 163 S. Portland Ave., Youngstown, are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Carolyn Book, 40 Fifth St., Bessemer, Pa., and Paul McDowell of the Edinburg Road address.
The bride's ivory silk gown was enhanced with sequins and pearls, and featured long sleeves, a full skirt and a cathedral train.
Burgundy gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jamie English; the bridesmaids, Caroline Perjessy, Maggie Centofanti, Courtney McDowell, Samia Rafeedie and Carol Ballentyne; and the junior bridesmaid, Hillary Book. Flower girl was Haley Pelini.
Serving as best man was Jason Kather, and groomsmen were Mike Masters, Brad Germanski, Randy Book, Jeff DelSignore and Johnny Argiro.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a master's degree in chemistry. She is a pharmaceutical sales representative with Sankyo Pharma in Warren.
The groom is a craneman in the mill at Duferco Steel Corp., Farrell, Pa.
