YOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of Christine Tyger, 2020 Eastan St. N.W., North Canton, and Jonathan Court, 800 Everhard Road, North Canton, was solemnized by the Rev. Anthony Salim at 1 p.m. Nov. 17 at St. Maron Church.
The daughter of Robert and Marianne Tyger, 303 North Bayshore Drive, Columbiana, and the son of Douglas and Mary Court, 272 North Union St., Galion, were honored later that day during a reception held at the Maronite Center.
The bride's sleeveless satin gown was embellished with silver and crystal beading and featured a basque waist, full skirt and cathedral train.
Wearing platinum-colored gowns were Stephanie Schorsten, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Rachel Grahovac; Mary Loboy; Tina Tyger, the bride's sister-in-law; and Krisanna Deppen, a cousin of the groom. Flower girl was the groom's niece, Danielle Court.
Martin Vaught served as best man, and groomsmen were Jeff and Ben Court, brothers of the groom; Bob Tyger, the bride's brother; and Blake Hutchinson.
The bride graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in history from Walsh University in North Canton and is an Americorps VISTA service leader at the university.
The groom, a social studies teacher with Dover City Schools in Dover, graduated from WU with a bachelor's degree in secondary education.
