Miriam Chapter 278 installs officers

YOUNGSTOWN -- Miriam Chapter 278, Order of the Eastern Star, held its 94th installation of officers Dec. 4 at the Youngstown Masonic Temple.
Presiding officers were Nancy Koehler, installing officer; Jean Olzak, installing marshal; Jean Mook, installing chaplain; and Marion Brownlee, installing organist.
Those taking office for the 2002 term were Susan E. Gillam, worthy matron; Russell W. Gillam, worthy patron; Mook, associate matron; Jack Maxwell, associate patron; Judy Elliott, secretary; Elberta Scott, treasurer; Blanche Costanza, conductress; Mary Beth Vargo, associate conductress; and Naomi Garver, trustee.
Members appointed to office were Richard Thompson, chaplain; Harry Booty, marshal; Rose Marie Roth, organist; Laurie Hernandez, Adah; Norma Wise, Ruth; Pam Pletcher, Esther; Jean Layne, Martha; Jean McClure, electa; Barbara Parker, warder; and Carole Maxwell, sentinel.
